Vi informiamo che il DM 14 dicembre 2021, n. 226 - nuovo regolamento in materia di dottorato - introduce la possibilità di una proroga non retribuita della durata massima di dodici mesi, per comprovati motivi che non consentano la presentazione della tesi nei tempi previsti dalla durata del corso (art. 8, comma 6, del DM).
Nell'attesa che le novità contenute nel DM vengano recepite nel Regolamento di Ateneo, la suddetta proroga è usufruibile da coloro che ne abbiano necessità, a partire dal XXXIV ciclo, con apposita richiesta sulla quale dovrà pronunciarsi il Collegio dei docenti.

We would like to inform you that Ministerial Decree no. 226 of 14 December 2021 - the new regulations on doctoral studies - introduces the possibility of an unpaid extension of a maximum of twelve months, for proven reasons that do not allow the submission of the thesis within the timeframe foreseen by the duration of the course (art. 8, paragraph 6, of the Ministerial Decree).
While waiting for the innovations contained in the Ministerial Decree to be implemented in the University Regulations, the above-mentioned extension can be used by those who need it, starting from the XXXIV cycle, with a special request to be decided by the PhD Board.
